Last night we were honored to be invited by Batavia Downs to bring the Hope Mobile to an amazing concert.They surprised us with a visit from our friend, Legendary Buffalo Bills Hall Of Fame Running Back Thurman Thomas. Thurman hung out with us, greeted the visitors at our table, and took photos. He is one awesome and kind hearted man. Thurman really cares about the mothers and families left behind by Veteran Suicide.Batavia Downs donated a signed football from Thurman and an overnight Stay and Play for us to raffle over the next month. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please send me a private message.We spoke about the mothers and their children, we spoke about the grandmother’s raising their grandchildren, we shared all three of our online support groups for the mothers and their families. What I didn’t expect was for us to meet family member after family member who has lost a child or family member to suicide that we’re not even Veterans. My team and I met so many lost family members, and we were able to love them, comfort them, provide them resources. There were many tears shed and many hugs from my team and I.A huge shoutout to my team last night, husband Randy Schue, Mark Damato and Tracy Damato for all your help last night. I needed wind therapy today with Randy Schue.Grief, trauma, and crisis care fills my heart with joy, especially if I can bring some HOPE, peace and comfort. With that joy comes sorrow and heartbreak. I feel for every man, woman and child I interact with. My heart can be very heavy at times. I truly love each and every one of the people I come in contact with. Their pain, I feel. I have not lost a child or served in the Military and I could never say I could feel the way they do but I do have empathy and compassion and that makes me feel their pain. Today on the bike, I closed my eyes, looked towards the sun and literally thanked God for putting these people in my life. I prayed that he gives me the right words to say and to keep me sane. I thanked him for sending me Randy, the only man that could put up with me and my RV Gypsy life.Today and every day, I go to God for help, hope and inspiration ❤️🙏

Last night we spent time with some very special people.White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary of WNY has created a Veteran and First Responder program and we were there for a tour and to hear of their future plans.Our friends at WNYHeroes.org presented a check to them for $2000 and we were honored to see the check being presented by Miranda and Service Dog Shadow.So many amazing people doing so many wonderful things ❤️🇺🇸💕Http://https://lnkd.in/g3_Ru964

To our Rochester and Buffalo friends ❤️The HOPE Mobile will be there to support White Whiskers Senior Dog Sanctuary of WNY at 35 Lewis Rd., Akron,NY starting at 6PM.The Veteran and First Responder program they are starting is amazing.
