Off-airport lots are parking lots that are close to the airport but not typically affiliated with the airport. They have parking options tailored to short stay and long stay parking needs. Many lots offer discounts for long term parking, so we definitely recommend looking at the different options.

How do you get to and from the airport from the parking lot if the lot is not actually at the airport? Most lots have airport shuttles that take passengers curbside to their terminal for free.

O’Hare Airport Hotels

Bundle packages

Instead of waking up at crazy hours or battling through commuter traffic to get to the airport on time, many fliers are opting for “park and fly” or “parksleepfly” packages instead. These packages are bundles created by ORD hotels with parking. The packages offer parking at discounted rates and include one night’s stay in the package as well.

Business travelers, young families, and older travelers typically prefer these packages because it allows them some buffer space before heading to the airport.
